Is Twitter Addictive?

I have a twitter account now. http://twitter.com/TherapyOnline
I am “hooked.”  I have actually received a lot of valuable info from other tweets I follow- sometimes the latest articles are posted on twitter before I see the article anywhere else.  Some days I tweet more than others- some of my posts are mundane, a few profound…and I am gaining followers.  Of course most of the people I follow are either in the psychology, mental health, technology or medical field.

And well, don’t you know- sometimes twitter just proves to be another distraction!  But there are days when I will take the distraction to avoid what is right in front of me.  I am sure I am not alone.

This week’s New York Magazine has an article about Twitter- How Tweet it Is -a good read! So what do you think? Is twitter addictive?

Happy Valentines Day to everyone!

I am seeing how it could become addictive.

I like your blog and your site. I saw that someone was giving you a hard time about online therapy so I came to check it out myself. Looks like a wonderful thing you are doing, in my opinion.

Funny that I found you, because I have just today decided to share my knowledge of relationships, both business and personal, and offer my advice, links to free tools for business, links to sites, and I really should add yours. I am just in the thinking and planning stages so far, but I really do have a lot to offer and feel that doing what i love, helping people solve problems, would be very rewarding.
